Health and Safety Classes
First Aid, CPR, AED, Aquatics Family Care Giving, and Babysitting are a few examples of courses taught by volunteer instructors at the Red Cross and throughout the community. Instructor training courses are required.
First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Provide instruction on lifesaving skills to the community. After completing training volunteers will be able to teach First Aid/CPR/AED skills as well as make community presentations.
Water Safety Instructors Be part of the rewarding opportunity to teach people of all ages to swim and safely have fun in and around the water.
Babysitting Instructors Learn to teach youth 11-15 effective babysitting skills. Course will help youth develop skills in leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first aid and professionalism.
Whale Tale Presenters Show children how to have fun safely in and around the water in a classroom setting. This video-based presentation geared for Kindergarten through 6th grade is fun for all.
NOTE: In order to register for classes, payment must be made prior to scheduled date.
